Shane Carwin is suffering from severe injury problems. He has been very consisted inside the boxing. But from mid March, he started loose his consistency. He could not concentrate and was constantly losing one after the other. Once he was in the ring with Brock Lesnar. In this particular match he suffered intense pain in his back. At one time he even lost senses in his legs for about fifteen seconds. Carwin became very nervous.

Doctors said that Shane Carwin was suffering from some spinal cord problem. A disc was disturbing the middle portion of the vertebral column. This particular wrester played with lot of health risks in the ring. The doctors said that Carwin has to stay away from the wrestling ring in order to heal the problem. Initially the doctors did not want to operate and solve the problem. Experts said that particular surgery which would completely cure the problem was a very tough and risky one. If anything went wrong then it could be very fatal for this particular wrestler. But at an age of about thirty six, Carwin was not at all ready to retire from the game of wrestling. He always wanted to get back to the ring and knock down his opponents. So he decided to go for the surgery.

The particular surgery was a very lengthy one. All the spinal cord juice was initially taken and the portion was made dry in order to solve the problem of disc. Doctors later said that two problems were found in T-10 and T-12 area which was actually at the middle of the back. Certain portion of the vertebral column was drilled out to give place for the disc. After the particular surgery, doctors claimed that Shane Carwin can get back to the wrestling ring at least not before twenty four months.
